Toyota hit something big

[tweetmeme source=”adamanddan” only_single=false] After 2 hours of unlimited, but interrupted music on Spotify from Moby, we were close to ending it all. Luckily our foolproof office seems to have thought of such catastrophe that the only noose like object is a shortened telephone cord which looked far too fancy and complicated to adjust.

Anyway, we were cheered up by @mixchex when he introduced us to the new Toyota campaign.

Introducing the swagger wagon…

The swagger wagon is an advertisement for the new Toyota Sienna and manages to show the car in its full glory in a comedic way following a modern family in every day life.

You can also meet the parents, which really gives an idea into the type of humour Toyota are looking to portray.

Our favourite skit though, is the I-Spy video which shows the advantage of having a backup camera in your motor.

It’s simply brilliant the way that they show each feature in an exciting way instead of the old tradition boring waffle. But yet again, it’s all about a company taking a chance and being different from all the others. If more clients did this then creativity would become more competitive. We’ve seen the Meerkat break away from the traditional, now Toyota.

The campaign by Toyota has attracted nearly 2 million views online alone and is clearly doing good for the brand that months ago were suffering with bad PR. As the majority of the campaign is on YouTube, this will have also saved Toyota a huge amount of money following recent events, but definitely shows they aren’t giving up yet.

In the meantime, if it takes 2 hours of Moby to discover a great idea, then we better get back to listening. Ahh there’s the phone.
