Some recent ads with great insight!

Recently, there have been two adverts which have stood out to us in particular. They’re not trying to be clever, or produce something completely different to the norm, but they are talking about the experience that their brand can give. And both hit the nail right on the head.

Firstly, McDonalds with their ‘Something for everyone’ campaign. They identify every type of customer in just 60 seconds and it’s magnificent to listen to and watch. Hats off to the guys at Leo Burnett as it portrays McDonalds in a brand new light to go with their new style within the restaurants.

It’s really well written, really nicely directed and the music behind is spot on.

Secondly, Argos.


The guys at Clemmow Hornby Inge again identify Christmas observations and in our opinion picks Argos up again from their current image. It’s a Christmas ad that doesn’t annoy you (yet) and actually gets you in the spirit for the approaching festivity.

What we like most about it is that no matter what type of family you are from or what age you are, you will relate to at least one of the Christmas happenings.

Christmas is about bringing people together and they have shown that successfully.
